Migrating Cookies from 10.5.8 ppc to Yosemite

Apple Community Members,

Is there any way to migrate cookies from a PPC G5, 10.5.8 to MacPro Intel desktop running Yosemite 10.10.5? I used the migration assistant software tool. It does not work. I dragged and dropped the 10.5.8 plist into the cookies folder. Also did not work. So I tried another hard drive installed with 10.6.8, and those cookies worked on the MacPro Intel 🙂. But with 10.10.5 Yosemite, it uses a new cookie format (binary cookies) that does not allow you to migrate cookies so easily (drag and drop). Is there any way to fix this? Want to have all my site logins from the G5 PPC Safari available on MacPro Intel. What is the BEST WAY to update my cookies without being a programmer? Thank you all !

Because of the format change, I think you are going to have to visit the website to get the updated version of the cookies.
