iTunes won't download on HP laptop

I just recently bought a new HP computer with Windows 10. I have tried just about every suggestion that I have researched, but iTunes still won't download. It either freezes once it hits a certain amount or says the download was interrupted. Is there something I am missing? I need help.

I assume you've turned off your virus scanner? Have you tried the download from another computer? And if you're downloading from this site - http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and having the issue, try downloading from here - iTunes installers and see if you have more success.
