OS X Mavericks installer stuck at disk selection

Hi everybody, I'm trying to update my MBP (mid 2012) from OS X 10.8.5 to Mavericks, i don't have an official App Store installer, but i already installed it in another MBP (late 2011), so i don't think is an installer problem (i tried 4 different versions).

The installer that worked on the 2011 MBP gets stuck at the Disk Selection window, i can select my SSD (i have a primary SSD and a storage HDD) as well as the HDD, but when i press install nothing happens.

I tried changing the date, language and logging in the App Store, still nothing.

If it matters the MBP has a broken logic board that doesn't work with battery, but with the AC adapter everything works fine.

I'd like to avoid a clean USB install, obviously if that's the only way to do it, i will..

Thanks in advance 🙂

If you aren't using the official App Store installer, what installer are you using? Try downloading the installer from the App Store Purchases tab. If necessary, download it on the 2011 Mac. You can make a bootable USB stick to install using this free program which will do all the work for you.
