why does my Iphone 7 speaks every letter I type?

New to iPhone's, turned on Siri and think I have everything setup right. Speak text is off but every letter I type on the keyboard on this iPhone 7 is spoken outlaid by the phone. Aggravating! Is this Siri doing this? Do I have to turn off Siri? Thanks for any help you can give.

Try going to Settings > General > Accessibility > Speech > Typing Feedback > and tuggle Speak Words to OFF.
