How do I add an image to my email signature on an iPad? ( iOS 10.2 )

I have tried just copying and pasting an image into my email signature in my Mail app settings, but this does not work. I see the image there, where I've pasted it, but when I go to my mail and compose a message, the image turns into a small white square. I sent a test message to my other email address and when I opened the message, the same white square appeared.

How do I add an image to my email signature and get it to appear when I compose a message and send?

I tried several methods that worked for old versions of iOS, but nothing is working anymore now that we're on iOS 10.2

Any ideas?

This is for a business, so I would really appreciate quick responses.

Thanks!!

I've been struggling with this for a while and I think I finally got it working on mine. I read on another site that the logo size has to be less than 8kb. So, I had it shrunk down and it's now working with my gmail. Be sure to also use the "Shake/Undo" trick that Lady Nadia linked to.

It's not working with my Exchange email account, but that's not the problem we are discussing here. Hopefully, this will be easier to figure out.

Hope this helps

i'm not sure if there is a way through the mail app. Who is the mail provider? FOr example I use yahoo and hotmail....you might use cox or something like that.

There's a lot of things that the mail app can't do, but it will respect the things in place....so if I go into my yahoo via Safari and make folders, the mail app will show those folders. Perhaps you can add a signature that way, access your mail via safari and see if there is a place to upload something for a signature.

I used,

http://www.imore.com/how-create-html-rich-emails-signatures-your-iphone-and-ipad

and followed directions. Worked for me, but for years I have had my signature on my mail account so that was half the battle.

On the tool bar where you type your message there are 2 arrows one left, other right. next to that are little squares

touching that icon puts your signature from mail settings. Also on iPad, messages you can write your name in

your hand and paste in iMessage. They see the message and then you signature appears.

I like bells and whistles. I know you can do something, I just keep at it until I find out and make it work.

Hope this helps.
