Microsoft Edge Two Factor Authentication

Hi,

When I log into these support communities from a new device/browser for the first time I am asked to enter a verification code that appears on another Apple device. If I choose to trust the browser I only have to do this once. This is fine and works perfectly, except in one scenario:

When I log in via Edge in Windows 2010 I'm prompted for the code, and then I click to trust the browser. If I then close the brower, reopen it and attempt to log in again I am sent another verification code which I have to enter.

Not a big deal, but I'm puzzled as to why this is happening. I've also noticed that if I tick the "remember me" box as soon as I close and reopen Edge it's forgotten my email address.

If it makes a difference I'm running Windows 10 on my rMBP 2012...

Any help would be much appreciated.
