Hi,My suggestion is don't use the same adapter for iPhone and iPad for charging .The wattage is kind of different for different devices.

Coming to the point I liked doing it at first because the iPhone battery is filling up way faster. But after a week or so I observed that the battery life I am getting is decreased. And my friend also had a bad experience by using the third party adapter and cable which lead to fire and damaged his device. So,Don't Mix and use the adapters and also never go with 3rd party .PEACE

The fact that the chargers are of differing wattages makes no difference. The charger for the device is in the device, not in the thing that plugs into the wall. Changing charger makes no difference to the speed at which they charge. Provided that the power supply can supply enough to charge the device it will work. You must have fooled yourself by thinking that your phone charged faster when you used an iPad power supply.
