iPhone 6s replacement refurbished?

I recently got my iPhone 6s replaced and I'm not sure if it's refurbished or not; i really hope it isn't though. The replacement's model number starts with an N, and I've read that it means that it comes from a replacement, and possibly refurbished, unit? If i do have a refurbished device I wouldn't know what to do. I really don't want to use a refurbished device because something about using a used device bugs me. Does anybody have any suggestions?

If it was replaced by Apple or an Apple Authorized seller, then what you got is known as a service replacemnt unit. It may be refurbished, it may not be. Either way, it's not you choice. The warranty and out of warranty replacement agreement simply states that you will receive a like-new device that is fully functional, and that it may be used or new, or contain used or new parts.

Nothing about the warranty or out of warranty replacement terms promises you a retail new device in exchange for your used device.
