Unable to enable ipv6

I have a very strange issue on my Wifes Mac Mini (2012) using Mac OS X Sierra.

I have a fully supported and working IPV6 network, both on the LAN and on the Internet from my service provider.

However, when I try and enable IPV6 on my wifes Mac Mini with Sierra when I click 'Apply' the IPV6 option auto disables. So the Mac Mini is unable to receive and IPV6 address.

This is not the case with my Macbook Air however!

Has anyone come across such an issue and how would I resolve and fix the problem please?

I'm running into the same thing! I bought my MacBook Pro the day before yesterday and applied all patches. My windows PC is obtaining an IPv6 address with no issues as is my iPhone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just figured out what the issue was. I installed McAfee Multi Access. I had to go into McAfee Multi Access preferences, then clicked on the firewall tab then clicked on my wifi network name, and selected "home or work". After doing this, my laptop was able to pickup an IPv6 address.
