How to unplug macbook air charger?

I bought a apple macbook air and started to use.But I saw some videos related to charging and unplugging charger from the computer.According to videos there are some ways of unplugging safely and someways unsafe.I tried to plug and unplug once my charger to computer to learnn how to do that without connecting to electricity.I tried to pull directly from the charging port and it was really hard but I managed somehow.This is harmful to computer ?

In my experience, the best way to do this is to put your finger under the plug (do *not* grab the cable), and tilt it up until the magnet releases. Then just pull the plug away from the port.


I'm very fond of Apple products, but the charger is, well, not my favorite. If you routinely grab the cable and yank the plug out of the port, the charger WILL wear out faster since the cord is going to separate internally from the plug. It won't harm the computer, but it will require you to replace the charger in fairly short order.
