Macbook Air gets hot while charging

Hi,

I have a 2015 model Macbook Air (i5, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD) bought 3 months ago and the area around magsafe port and also the charger get really hot while charging. I do not know if that',s normal, but it doesn't seem it is.

MacBook Air, macOS Sierra (10.12.3)

Reset SMC. Choose the method for “If the battery is non-removable”.
