Green move ring not updating

I click on Outdoor Walk, I go for a 45 minute walk, I end the workout and click SAVE, and my ring is only showing 3 minutes. And then a while later, with another workout, it will work. This just started happening yesterday and it's happened 3 or 4 times. Last night, I climbed into bed to read and set my watch for a workout, and then saved it just bc I wanted to get my ring closed, and despite going to a zumba class and doing a 5 mile walk, none of that activity saved.


I'm not a new user - I've had the watch for close to a year, so I think this isn't a case of me suddenly not using the watch correctly. Also, 3 minutes seems to be the default.


I've been in settings on my phone, and all the software is up to date as well as my personal profile settings.


Any ideas for why I can't get my green ring to close? I'm addicted to closing my rings!

The other 2 rings are recording accurately.

There are many other people facing the same issue and I am going to try to help you. There have been many other articles and forums about this and it seems to be an actual problem and not just on your watch. As for the green move ring for now I would advise to choose the option 'Other' as that seems to be on of the options that will actually track your move goal.
