Same image size for small, medium & large in mail, it's tiny!

I'm having trouble when I send a photo in mail. When I select the size option, it offers me the same for all small, medium and large. Original works fine.

Example. Original photo 2.2MB. Small 28kb, medium 28kb, large 28kb.

I'm still using el Capitan.

Would love to get this fixed pronto, it's driving me a little crazy!!!!!

From where are you getting the photo to include in the email? Is it in an iPhoto or Photos library? If that's the case do the following test:

1 - export the original file to the Desktop.

2 - add the file to the email from the Desktop and set the various sizes.

Do you get the same results?

Hi BDAqua & Old Toad, I'm back 🙂

Yes, I re-ran etrecheck and all adware had been removed. Though nothing changed in the size of the attachments.

I gave up, backed up, and downloaded Sierra. I am happy to report I can send 4 different sized attachments in email once again (pop the party poppers) so it seems the upgrade has solved my problem.

Thanks for giving me your time and knowledge, I really appreciated someone trying to help me with my glitch

🙂

Hi Old Toad,

just want to say, thanks for helping me. Alas, this hasn't worked either. I've uninstalled Avast, I've gotten rid of the adware.... should I give up and upgrade to Siera? I won't be near a computer for 2wks now, sorry in advance for lack of contact 🙂 I'll be back in 2wks to annoy you again 😉

Same image size for small, medium & large in mail, it's tiny!
