Optimal partition for my MacBook Pro

I just got my new MacBook Pro today. I'm a Designer full time and Freelance Photographer. I use Solidworks 2016 so will need to download Windows using Bootcamp. Windows will be used primarily for Design work, and I would like to use Adobe CC on the iOS side. I will be using Photoshop a lot and likely be storing a lot of pictures.

Im curious what would is a optimal partition, 60/40, 50/50...etc...? If anyone has some insight that would be great. Thank you.

Firstly, the computer uses MacOS, not iOS which is for iPhones, etc. Secondly, there is no optimal partitioning strategy. You will need to allow whatever you need. OS X requires 30GBs, minimally. Windows requires about 50GBs, minimally. If you plan to use Windows for only one app plus storage for files, then100GBs may be sufficient. The rest of the drive may be allocated to OS X.

We can't tell you what to allocate because we have no way to know what your storage demands will be beyond the minimums required for the two operating systems.
