APN Settings for iPhone 6 Plus

I have a iPhone 6 Plus it was originally on a AT&T plan, I unlocked the phone from AT&T, then cancelled my plan. I just switched to Straight Talk yesterday. The problem that I am having is that I cannot access the APN settings on my phone to enter the new APN settings for Straight Talk for data service. How do you access the APN settings on a iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 10.2.1?

When I go into Settings > Cellular > There are no options under > Cellular Data Options other than Enable LTE and Data Roaming.

Please help.

No. That won't help. The problem is that the network is identifying itself as the underlying carrier's network. StraightTalk will have to provide you with a configuration file to set up your phone to use data on their GSM service.

You will have to get that from them. I'm not surprised you're having issues getting support from them... they are, after all, run by Way*Mart... Call back and escalate the call until you get hold of someone with a clue.

Ok so after three seperate phone calls and 2:45 minutes on the phone. Straight Talk had me try 3 different APN Profile settings. They started giving me the run around after trying to trouble shoot everything. Then said that they would send me a new sim card to replace the one that I had. But at about 12AM this morning the phone finally fired up LTE data and MMS service.

The had me load up the APNs in safari over wifi on the phone.

The first APN profile that they gave me was this one and they had me reload this profile twice.

The second APN didnt work at all.

The third APN that finally worked after loading it the twice was the RESELLER APN.

I guess they expected me to hang up after they couldn't figure out the problem. I could have reported 4-5 insurance claims quicker than there technical support was.

Because they are an MVNO using a supported GSM carrier's network, you will not have access to the APN settings. Contact StraightTalk for assistance.

I have called and talked to Straight Talk 3 times now. I haven't got anywhere so far. any other suggestions? Could I clear the phone and reload iOS 10.2.1 onto the phone?
