How to Record iPhone Screen

Ok, I already posted once, but I never got any useful replies and I stopped getting replies. So I decided to start a new post, with more clarity.

I want to be able to record video of my iPhone screen. I would like to create some gaming videos and post them on Youtube. I know you can record the screen easily on an Android, by I prefer Ios.

However, I have the following limitations:

No jailbreaking. I do not want to jailbreak my iPhone due to many reasons, and most are self explanatory. 1.) I can risk downloading malware and viruses on my iPhone which would be hard to get rid of; 2.) It can create problems with my phone that no Apple expert can help.
Must be either permanently free or pay once. I don't want to spend all my money for paying every month or so. I would like to only have to pay once and use it forever, or permanently free which I prefer.
I don't have a mac. I have a computer running on Windows 10. I know you can use mirroring on a Mac, but I don't know about a Windows.
Downloads must be minimal. I am always worried about getting malware whenever I am unsure whether the company that the download is from is legit or not.

I am sure there is a way, and I am pretty sure not everyone on Youtube who records their iPhone screen has a mac.

Based on the answers in the previous thread, there is no way to do what you want, or at least no one that is free. Software developers deserved to be paid for their work.

Any way to record screen?

I suggest you ask some of the people posting these videos you feel the need to emulate how they did it.

I don't believe so as in the article it says:

"If you're using OS X Yosemite or later, you can also record the screen of any iOS device..."

Based on the fact that Apple no longer supports Safari for Windows or Quicktime for Windows, it appears they have only a limited interest in making software for Windows. So, don't hold your breath.

You have changed your requirements. Last time you insisted on a free solution, of which there were none.

You can have a look at this, which is a one-time purchase and runs on Windows.

I may think about that one. i am pretty sure that it is legit, as 1) there is a version sold on Amazon for Fire TV, and other Amazon devices; and 2) The website has SSL which most scam websites don't.

I will definitely think about Air Squirrels.

however, are there free softwares?

We've done this before. There does not appear to a free app. I found you a one time payment app that meets your new requirements.

Like we have said there isn't any free ones.

Apple has made one but it's only if you had a Mac. Apple isn't going to allow any on the App Store because it poses a security issue.

If there were any free ones it probably has some type of virus.

I can understand your point. But you are going to have to buy some third-party software. I am not sure which ones are good as I've never tried any.

Not to sound rude in anyway but I'm pretty sure Apple wants to improve iOS macOS etc then having to spend the time and resources creating a software for windows. As stated above Apple seems to have little to no interest making software for windows.

Apple is quite strict with screen capture tools. Currently, I'm using a desktop app call Acethinker iPhone screen recorder that mirrors my iPhone screen to the computer and use its screen recording function to make videos. It's not that direct, but it works.

My solution is to get a Lightning To HDMI converter, and plug it in to a video game capture device. You don't need any annoying software, all you need is a driver software for the capture device.

And Airshou does not work, I tried it on a phone that is out of warranty, it doesn't work. I tried everything, it won't save the video.

And there are many airplay software for Windows out there, but they are quite expensive. But using a capture device, I can use it for my video game consoles as well, and not have to pay more.
