Camera icon on menu bar

Ignore my previous post about Dropbox.

I found the discussion where someone told you about the camera icon.

It was Lanny's reply in the following discussion: Lion 10.7.5 to Sierra

He included the following (note that the camera icon he is referring to is only visible when you are typing a reply to a post in this forum and it is in the row of icons at the top of the box where you are typing the reply):

You don't need to post images to Dropbox and provide a link, just click on the camera icon to upload an image.

I can't find the previous post where someone told you that and I don't know of an option that puts a camera on the menu bar, but I suspect that you may be referring to a setting in Dropbox which you access by clicking the Dropbox icon in the menu bar, then click the gear-shaped icon, then select Preferences and then click Import in the bar across the top and select "Share screenshots using Dropbox"

Whenever you take a screenshot, Dropbox will automatically save it to your Dropbox and copy a link to your clipboard so you can share it instantly.
