Mac OS/Focusrite 18i8 Routing Issues

Hi Everyone,

I'm having some serious trouble with my Macbook Pro and routing my music to a pair of external monitors through a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 interface. I know I'm getting a signal as the mix control is showing an audio signal, and I'm also able to hear music from the interface through a pair of headphones as well. I've gone into both the sound preferences and Midi setup and attempted to route to external speakers.. nothing.

Here's my basic setup, and I've confirmed this in the past with a PC.. all my cable and routing are good:

Focusrite-->Big Knob Monitor Controller --> Emotiva Monitors

I can't seem to get any freaking sound to come out of the monitors and I'm flipping my lid over here. I've updated my mac software, updated the latest drivers, and confirmed the sound flow. So I was curious if anybody had a similiar experience and what the heck I'm missing here?!
