Why, when I try to get into some websites do I get the message 'Safari can't open the page because safari can't establish a secure connection to the server'? Ive tried changing my security settings but nothing works.

Have uninstalled Trusteer but still not getting access to certain websites.

You are welcome. Based on what I've read in the discussions here and at the website, it should be better than Safari because it is more up to date.
Uninstall Trusteer software and test.

Some sites may not work well with older versions OS X.
Yep downloading Waterfox has worked. I can now use the websites that were blocked before.
