I received a gift certificate and went through the process on my iTunes account to redeem it.
But the balance doesn't seem to be what it should after redeeming, and I while I can find payment history, I can't find an account balance history.
How can I check that the gift certificate was intact redeemed?

You can't view a history of gift card redemptions nor a history of your balance, all you can do is view your account's current balance and its purchase history (which also shows how items were paid for).
Thanks, I guess. So Apple have not put in any way to check? That's crazy. All I want to do is to check that the $30 credit was in fact added.
It's just a shame that such a basic feature for payment system is missing... Seriously!
