And I will add on some more shopping advice... TigerDirect.
This is a website/online shopping store that has a few select actual
real stores in Canada and the USA. The Canadian ones are in Ontario (all near Toronto pretty much) and the US in Illinois and Florida I think. But there are 2 websites, www.tigerdirect.com and www.tigerdirect.ca and after doing the money conversion, they both seem to have basically the same prices (which can be really cheap).
They are the best place IMO to purchase any kind of electronics and accessories in general (I also got my refurbished iBook G3 from them in Sept that came with a year warranty from the company that refurbished it) and while they do mostly stick to PC items, you can find things that are both PC and Mac compatible (including RAM), and they sell some RAM that is "made specifically for macs" if you prefer to go that route. They also have various Apple iPods for sale (new and refurbished) and occassionally will have a select amount of Refurbished Macs (usually older laptops like the iBooks) for sale.
It's a great site, I buy all my stuff from them and anything else usually from Amazon (when I am buying a bunch of other stuff from Amazon anyways and if they have about the same prices).
Happy Boxing Day from a fellow Canadian (I have been in the US for almost exactly 10 years now, so I really do need to go back and visit Toronto again soon).
