Will appe tv 4 remote work without direct view of Apple TV

much of the remote stuff is Bluetooth those would but things would need line of sight think that is mostly the control volume on tv and the likes features, think ios device it does not have ir at all and soly rely on Bluetooth / or wifi to control the appletv with their remote apps
