Guys,
Currently have a 5s but it's time to upgrade to something more modern. Thinking about purchasing an iPhone 7 (not Plus version; too large). Would an iPhone 7 image transferred to my Windows 10 PC (using the iOS camera app) have the P3 or sRGB profile embedded? And what about video?
My monitor is calibrated to the sRGB colour space.
Appreciate any info.

There is no method of color management on iOS devices. The iPhone and iPad are preset to whatever Apple uses. They don't appear as blue to me as the horrid desktop default of 6500K, 2.2 gamma. I'd say they were closer to 5500K, 2.2 gamma. Typically referred to as photographer's settings.
I don't own an iPhone, much less an iPhone 7. But if it does take RAW images (without looking it up, I think it does), then how an image looks on the iPhone's screen is irrelevant since you'll be able to adjust the color temperature in post. Such as in Photoshop's camera RAW plug-in.
Hi, is the format RAW in iphone 7? If it is then the photos could be manipulated within software on PC/MAC.
