Holiday calendar doesn't show up

Since macOS Sierra my holiday calendar won't show up even if I check "Show Holiday calendar" in calendar.app preferences. Changing country/region settings and deleting prefs and Calendars folder from ~/Library doesn't help. Even a new user account for testing doesn't show up holidays. Anyone has the same problem or a suggestion?
