Reminders no longer pop up in notifications

This is about reminders on my iPhone 6. I rely on setting reminders but all of a sudden they have stopped popping up as notifications, even thought they are definitely still there and overdue. Under settings, in the notification centre reminders seems to have disappeared completely. Googling a solution has proved useless. Help! Thanks!

Hi Veejaycee,

I understand that you are no longer receiving notifications for Reminders that you have set. It also seems that the option for the Reminders app is not showing under Settings > Notifications. I use my Reminders app all the time so I can see why this would need to be addressed.

What I'd like to have you do is the following:

1. Remove the Reminders app
2. Restart the iPhone
3. Reinstall the Reminders app
4. Check Settings > Notifications and make sure the Reminders app is showing there
5. Create a test reminder and see if you get a notification.

Remove built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS device with iOS 10

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let me know how this goes. Have a great day!
