Blubrry. Podcastconnect: "Can’t parse your feed. Invalid XML: Error on line -1: Premature end of file."

I tried again with http://xmlgrid.net/validator.html and this time it validated the feed. Podcasts Connect is still complaining that it can't parse the feed. That error usually means that there is an error in the feed - an illegal character, for example - which is rendering it unreadable. However that evidently isn't the case.

As I suggested you could leave it for a day and try again, on the off-chance that Podcasts Connect is not working properly and may get mended: it's not unknown. Otherwise you could try Support - they are reluctant to get involved with problems at your end, but you should make it clear that the feed has passed validation in several validators and can be subscribed to in the iTunes application. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page.

Feedvalidator passes it with a few minor comments; two other validators didn't react at all, leading me to wonder whether your server isn't always responding. I was able to subscribe successfully in inTunes. In Podcasts Connect I simply got 'could not parse your feed', not the error message you quote (which doesn't make sense anyway).

It might be a problem with your server or it might be a glitch at Podcasts Connect. I should wait for a day or so and try again as a first step.

The feed appears to have been submitted so presumably the problem was either fixed or went away.
