Podcasts won't download

Since the beginning of iOS 10, I am having trouble with the Podcasts app.

Ocasionally, it doesn't automatically download the Podcasts that are configured to do so. It happens every week, from 2 to 3 days a week.

It is very annoying trying to deal with this issue because I have to manually download ALL the Podcasts every day they don't download automatically.

I'm waiting for it to be an issue Apple has been aware of because I do not want to migrate to a third-party Podcast app. But if this issue persists, I will have no choice! 😟

iPhone 6, iOS 10.2.1, Podcasts ver. 2.5.2

I see that the Podcasts application fails to download podcasts you've subscribed to from time to time. I'm happy to help with this.
First, Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- Once your iPhone has returned to the Home screen, test the issue again.
Remove built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS device with iOS 10 -- If restarting your iPhone didn't fix the issue, follow the directions here to remove then re-add the Podcasts application on your iPhone.

Hi SnickZ, I've tried to reboot the iPhone just this morning, but nothing new happened.

The only thing I've not tried yet is to remove the built-in App and try to download it again. I'll try this at home later today, and hopefully, I can come back here with good news!
