I received a call saying my icloud account had been hacked and to call an 800 number for help. Is this something Apple would do, or is this a scammer trying to get hold of my info?

Apparently this scam continues months later. I have received 5 calls today and have blocked them on my home phje. They just keep calling.
Received 800 call saying icloud hacked.
