How to connect an iPod Classic to bluetooth speakers

I have an iPod Classic, an Aluratek (ABT01F) transmitter, and a Samsung FS-8000 Stereo System. Is my iPod Classic (A1238, 120GB) compatible with the Aluratek transmitter. Currently, I am able to use an AUX cable with the iPod classic when connecting to the stereo system, however, I would like to wirelessly use my iPod if feasible. My question is how the Aluratek transmitter connects the iPod to the stereo system? Is it an analog kind of method or a digital method of connecting?

Thank you kindly for your feedback & direction!

The iPod classic doesn't have any Bluetooth or wireless features. You would use the short cable of the transmitter to connect to the iPod, and connect the transmitter to the stereo over Bluetooth. This lets you take the iPod and transmitter with you as you walk around the house while the sound comes from the stereo. The connection between iPod and the transmitter is analog. Bluetooth should be all digital.
