My speaker on my iPhone 7 just turned on and told me that I had been selected to beta test the iPhone 7s. Is this spam?

Yes this is a scam as stated above.
Apple would not randomly play something through your speaker or send an email. You will only get an email once you sign up.
What happened after? Was that all?
