It sounds like you are sharing an Apple ID. It's no a good idea to share an Apple ID. Your daughter can have her own Apple ID and you can setup Family Sharing so that you can share purchased content.

Take a look at these support articles for more information and help with Family Sharing.

Hello,

This is taken from Apple's Website:

Can I share an Apple ID with someone else?

Your Apple ID should not be shared with anyone else. It provides access to personal information including contacts, photos, device backups, and more. Sharing your Apple ID with someone else means you are giving them access to all your personal content and may lead to confusion over who actually owns the account. To share iTunes & App Store purchases, photos, a calendar, and more with someone else, try Family Sharing, iCloud Photo Sharing, or other easy-to-use sharing features.

You don't need to use the same account to use Find my iPhone.

For example if Bob has an iPhone and his Apple ID is bob @ bob.com, you would use that account to use Find my iPhone.

The best option is to create separate Apple ID accounts for each device. You should only use the same Apple ID if it is your device, not a daughter for example.

This is incorrect.

Each person needs to have their own Apple ID, and use it to set up Find My iPhone on their own devices.

When you need to find a lost iPhone from a different device, you can use the Apple ID used for iCloud on the lost iPhone to log in to the Find My iPhone App on the device being used to find the lost one.

Alternatively you can use Family Sharing to locate the iPhones that are part of the same Family Group.

Family Sharing and location - Apple Support

The location of your shared devices will also appear on family members’ devices in Find My iPhone. If needed, you can choose which device you want to share your location from.

What we all mean is you don't need to be logged into the same account(it's not recommended by Apple)to use Find my iPhone.

It is recommended by Apple to have separate accounts.

If you want to track your daughters you should use Find My Friends.

About Find My Friends - Apple Support

Find my iPhone is designed for when your device is lost or stolen. Not tracking a family member.

hey guys, thanks for the answers. But the issue is this: we dont want to share the contents of devices..! the only thing we want is to use find my iphone app. But for activating find my iphone in all devices it is a MUST to set up icloud by using the same apple ID on each device..! so i have to put the same apple ID ( mine) into 2 other device too..!

The emphasis there is on finding your devices, not yours and your daughters, and anyone else's.

Your devices and your content is tied to your iCloud account which is in turn linked to your AppleID. Other people's devices similarly need to have their devices tied to their iCloud accounts, not yours. You can use find my friends or family sharing to track each other and each other' devices.

If you insist in using one AppleID, then everyone's devices have access to anything and everything linked to that AppleID's iCloud account - iCloud email, notes, contacts, calendars, iCloud Drive files, etc.
