Can you record with both cameras?

I've seen a lot of videos with people recording using the front and rear facing cameras with the user facing camera being like a picture in picture. Is there an app that will let me do this? Or is it only possible on certain phones? Thank you.

No, you cannot do that natively on the iPhone, once you start to record through one camera you need to stop the recording to change the camera being used, and there is no picture in picture option in the native Camera App.

There are, however, Camera Apps in the store that will let you do this.

However generally videos like the ones you describe ae done in post-production and editing, by adding a secondary video to the primary one in editing.

An iPhone cannot record from both the front and the rear cameras simultaneously. Something like the app 2camshoot will let you switch cameras without stopping the recording, but the recorded feed at any given time is still only from one (the selected) camera.

I'll also add that the app twicer is not available in the USA App Store at least (presumably since iOS itself won't allow any app access to both cameras at the same time).

I totally misread that, I thought OP ask if he could record using the front and rear camera... didn't know he/she meant both at the same time.
