iPod shuffle: How to keep same playlist order as in iTunes??!?

I am simply trying to take my running Playlist (arranged in order from iTunes) and copy it (in the order AS IS) to my Shuffle. The shuffle is blue (2015 or newer gen I think)

I have the Manual setting (I do not do AutoSync), Shuffle is OFF, and i have tried what others listed:

- Option click and select Copy to Play Order.

- I have also tried dragging each song by itself, and it will not stay in the order I wish! WTH?!

I don't get how to do all this complicated voice over stuff (what ever that is) Why is this so difficult? To keep the order of an existing playlist and simply drag it to my Shuffle??? This is incredibly frustrating it should be easy as pie to do. I've had Macs & iPods forever and it keeps getting more complicated to do simple things.

I had the same problem as you before. Create a playlist first, then try enabling the voiceover button (on the shuffle's settings)? because it can let you select your own playlists, and however you have arranged your playlist it will play as how you have ordered it on iTunes. To enable voiceover, go to the shuffle's settings (plug it into iTunes) and select 'enable voiceover' and click on apply. Then, go to Settings -> music -> and click on the playlists that you have made and put it on the shuffle. And then select apply/sync. Unplug the iPod once the sync is completed. Plug in your headphones then hold the voice over button for a couple of seconds and when you hear the single beep let go of the button, and you will hear "All Songs" (which it won't let your order of songs play), next one will be whatever you named your playlist, select it and you're good to go.

Hope this helps.
