Weird popup in Finder

Dear all,I randomly get a popup coming from the Finder saying:Non è stata impostata nessuna applicazione per aprire l&#x27;URL data:text/html;base64,PHNjcmlwdD4oZnVuY3Rpb24oKXtmdW5jdGlvbiBnKGEpe3ZhciBjLGI7Y z0iIjtmb3IoYj0wO2I8YS5sZW5ndGg7YisrKWMrPV ... aXB0Pg&#x3D;&#x3D;.The first part is in Italian but translated means there is no application to open the following URLAt the beginning I thought it was an adware but it doesn&#x27;t seem related to Safari or any other browser since it really comes from the finder and even if I force close the browsers it stays there.Any help?Thank you.

Uninstall Sophos. Macs don&#x27;t need third-party anti-virus protection.You have a large number of &#x27;plugins&#x27; that look very out of date to me. I suggest you ininstall all of those you need and obtain updated versions of those that you do need.C.

Hello,actually i started closing apps selectively and waiting for a while. In particular it seems that Skype was the source of the problem. Now I uninstalled it and I will monitor the situation, in case the problem is gone I will mark this as solved. I will also remove/update the plugins as suggested..thank you.

I&#x27;d start by uninstalling sophos. Antivirus on the mac are useless and the cause oc all sorts of trouble.
