How can I add multiple transitions all at once?

I am making a slide show in FCP with over 30 minutes of footage of just photos. That equates to a lot of photos and would be very time consuming to add a transition to each and every photo. Is there a way I can add a variety of transitions to my movie all at once or in a short period of time?
