Phone screen stuck on zoom on lock screen

Hello, recently I woke up to discover that my phone seized up over night.

It's stuck on the lock screen and I cannot turn it off in any form bar sleep. I cannot do a hard reset, I cannot even enter the home screen. I've tried everything but nothing works, to my dismay.


Any ideas? I want resetting it to be a very last resort.

Hi


If Zoom has been enabled on your iPhone, it may help to:


  • Double-tap the screen with three fingers.
  • Triple-click the Home button.


If your iPhone remains unresponsive and cannot be restarted normally, it may help to force restart it by pressing and holding down both the Sleep/wake button and the Home button for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo:

If your iPhone remains frozen, follow the steps here:
