How can I make a psychedelic guitar sound in GarageBand?

I've recorded some acoustic guitar nicely with a mic and it sounds quite good, but what might be the best way to use GageBand controls to make the single track sound 'psychedelic' (or even the master track). Please 🙂

Make sure your audio recording is in an electric guitar track. If you recorded it as a "real instrument" track, just open a new track as an electric guitar track, then copy and paste your recording into it. Then, open the library and select an amp setting such as "crunchy blues" and then open "smart controls" to reveal a little icon that looks like a guitar pedal. It will open choices for guitar pedal simulations. Drag a phaser and a delay pedal onto your virtual pedalboard and voila! Instant trippy guitar.
