Iphone 6 plus Recall for flicker Issues

Hi Guys,

I have a IPhone 6 plus 128 gb phone and past few weeks I am noticing a flicker on top of the screen and my screen touch gets disabled.

I am trying to resolve this issue.

I have bought this phone in NOV 2014 and have replaced it at least 5-6 times in last two years.

5 times due to software bug issue itself.

Is there any way we can get this phone recalled and get a better model as I have almost paid $400-$500 in replacement as taxes + $200 on apple care + $800+ on the original phone cost.

I am not sure is there any way we can get this repaired without paying any money as its software bug not user issue.

So why should we pay for fixing it.

Kindly advise if there is any way to get it fixed and replace with better model

Hi

There is a Multi-Touch Repair Program for iPhone 6 Plus.

Subject to the terms of the program, if your iPhone 6 Plus is exhibiting certain symptoms (which are consistent with those you described), is otherwise in working order and the screen is not cracked or broken, Apple will repair your iPhone for a fixed service price (for example, $149 in the US).

Under the program, Apple also advises:

"Apple will contact customers who may have paid for a service repair related to this issue either through Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider to arrange reimbursement. If you have not been contacted but paid for a repair that you believe was related to this issue, please contact Apple.

The reimbursement amount will equal the difference between the price you paid for the original service to your iPhone 6 Plus and the $149 service price".

Follow the instructions here to arrange service and, if you have not yet been contacted, to claim reimbursement for previous repair service fees that you have paid in respect of the issue:

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. No one here can get Apple to recall anything. I suggest contacting Apple and taking the issue up with them. You can either make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or use the Contact Support link at the top right of every page.
