keynote presentation: dimensions?

Hi,

I've used Keynote to make a presentation for a client that actually hired me to do it in powerpoint.

Since Keynote seems easier for a designer to work in I downloadet it to do the presentation and then export to powerpoint in the end.

However, the file output went all wrong when I exported it, so I chose to export to Quicktime instead.

But is there some special dimensions I should choose so that it fits to a big presentation on a big conference powerpoint screen?

The default dimensions I chose was 1024x768. Is this to small?

There is mostly vector graphics and type and not much pictures(pixels) in the file.

Thank you!

best,
Sara

If you have no information on the projector, you will need to estimate what might be there. I over estimate the resolution if there are no specs available.

Some examples of projector resolutions in pixels are:

for a classroom: XGA = 1024 x 768

for a small hall: WUXGA = 1920 x 1200

for a large theatre: 4K = 3840 x 2160

In comparison, the current iMac 21" is 1920 x 1080

the iMac Retina 4K is 4096 x 2304
