How can i use Macbook Pro and iPad after traumautic brain injury?

I am dealing with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). I have recently acquired a MackBook Pro OSX El Capitan (10.11.6) and iPad Air(10.2.1).

Does anyone have suggestions on using them to help organize and remember? I am feeling so lost. Any help would be welcome!

MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

I believe these questions could be answered much better by a qualified professional, such as your rehab and/or physical therapist. There are some Accessibility options - look in System Preferences > Accessibility - but we are only other users helping to use Mac products, not professionals. I'd take either/both to my next appointment and ask them to help me use them (after looking at the possible options in that Accessibility Pane). These people would know exactly what it is you should or need help with, so I think that would be your best option. If you do not currently have someone like that, I would ask my doctor and say "I need help with using my computer because I can't......... - is there anyone you can send me to"

Much luck in your efforts; glad you can actually write here and ask!

About a year ago I had a stroke which left me unable to do much of anything, my MacBook Pro became my crutch, I couldn't talk but I could poke at keys well enough for the spell checker to figure out what I meant. Constant small problems caused me to have to think, thus exercising my brain. When I was well enough to undergo PT I took it with me and occupied myself with making graphs to keep track of my progress. In short I agree wholeheartedly with Babowa, let those who are supervising your recovery advise you.

Good luck, get better.
