I am having the same issue - can't see the songs that are loaded. When I click on the iPod in Devices I get the same iTunes type display. No tabs for content or settings.

It also just continues to say "Accessing iTunes Store" to no avail. Can't get rid of the blinking orange light, can't eject, etc.

Anyway, one problem at a time. Any other hints regarding being able to see songs? I'm veeerrrryyyy frustrated!

i have the same problem....did anyone figure this
out?
there aren't any tabs (settings) or anything, it's
just pics of different kinds of ipods that says
"IPODS + ITUNES" and a link to the tutorials, which i
have read and watched ... still can't figure it out.
please help

You seem to be talking about what's on the Apple Support website... What we're trying to help with is what's happening in iTunes on the OP's computer related to the Shuffle.

WHAT problem[*] are you having and what have you done so far?

[*] If it's the original poster's problem. have you done what Jose M recommended?:

With the ipod plugged into the computer and showing in iTunes (Under Devices), Click on the ipod and it should take you to a screen with two tabs Settings and Content. Click on content and that should show you the music currently loaded on the ipod.

I also have the same problem with my girlfriend's
ipod. I can see the tabs but no list of the songs in
the content. Any comments?

Guess what... IF the Contents pane has no songs, there's NO content on your Shuffle... Drag and drop a track or two from the library onto the Shuffle icon and you'll see it in the Contents pane.

no, there is contents. i just figured it out.

to recap: i had 2 problems: one was that i couldn't see the contents of the shuffle. the other was that i couldn't eject my shuffle. when i tried to eject, i kept getting the message that i couldn't eject because an application was using the files on the ipod. when i clicked the icon of my shuffle i got the picture of the ipods with the heading "ipod + itunes," as i recall. there were no settings or content tabs.

now i realize there were no tabs because i had not finished the registration of the shuffle on my pc. i had registered the shuffle on the website without using itunes. i didn't realize that there was more i needed to do in itunes because i couldn't see all of the buttons in my window. when i followed through with the registration in itunes all the way to the end, the 2 tabs were revealed and the songs that i had already loaded on the shuffle were listed in "contents." and, i was able to eject the shuffle. apparently itunes (or whatever) was still looking for a completed registration and wouldn't release the shuffle. sigh.

if you can not see the settings and contents tabs in itunes when you click your shuffle in devices or you can not eject the shuffle, look at the window with the picture of the ipods in itunes. there is more below. complete the registration (i had already done so on the web earlier, but my itunes was not complete.).

thanks to everyone for your help.

Accidentaly someone had blocked my IPod and I can get the numbers he entered. Its any way I can cancel that blocked numbers. Also I can not get to my IPod through my computer.

Accidentalmente, alguien bloqueó mi I Pod. No puedo encontrar la forma de entrar a el. Hay alguna manera en que pueda eliminar este bloqueo para tener acceso a mi IPod. Ni siquiera puedo verlo en mi computadora.
