Torrents are not downloading anymore. Stuck at 0%

I was able to download torrents a day ago but yesterday it's not working anymore. I tried using uTorrent, Transmission , and qbttorent but all the same. I am a new mac user and I just had this unit on Sunday (Feb 26) I logged in to my Fujitsu laptop and downloaded the torrents in there and it's running perfectly as usual. I tried it again here on my mac (Sierra 10 12 1 ) ;same link , tried other link and still it's not working.

iMac, iOS 10.2.1

If you are using Torrents to download software you did not pay for I'm sorry but we cannot help you as that is against the Terms of Use we all agreed to on these forum. Please don't get me wrong, I am not accusing you of anything I am just letting you know.

However, If you are not using it for downloading software you did not pay for then please post an EtreCheck report of your system. Google EtreCheck and then download the app and run the report. Then copy and paste the entire report into your reply to this message and we can then look for obvious problems with your system.

If you are involved in torrenting activities to obtain illegal capturing/pirating of software, movies and/or TV shows, we cannot help you with any of this per the Terms of Use (ToU) that you agreed to when you signed up for these forums to get help.

Torrenting is an illegal activity and can result in your new Mac getting lots of nasty malware/adware.

And installing anti-virus software into the Mac OS, to protect yourself against malware obtained through your torrenting activities, is NOT advisable because antivirus software can severely and negatively impact overall Mac OS performance.

You and your Mac would be better served by discontinuing ALL torrenting activities.

Also, FYI, never come to an Apple product troubleshooting forum to ask for help to aid in any type of illegal piracy activities.

Good Luck to You!

Even if you are using torrents to obtain content legally, by their

nature they are not safe. The content is distributed over a wide

number of computers that can be ultra secure to totally wide open.

Because of this distributed nature and lack of control, any manor

of malware or worse can get piggy-backed on any download.

Bottom line, torrents, for legal or illegal purposes, are totally unsafe!
