Does the iPhone se pair with the AirPods just like the iPhone 7 does.

I have recently ordered the AirPods. I and starting to have second guesses on my decision. I haven't ever seen the AirPods pair with the iPhone se like it does on the 7. Does it require you to have the "W1" chip or will it pair the same. Please help. I just want it to be easy and convenient. Thanks

Hi

AirPods are compatible with iPhone SE.

To use features including one-tap setup, your iPhone SE needs to be running iOS 10.x.

(The W1 chip is a hardware feature of the AirPods, not iPhone).
