Powerbook G4 15

I believe I have a 15" 1.33MHz model (A1095/M9421), and have been considering rebuilding it for use as a word processing workhorse @ light duty internet research machine. I dropped it years ago- precipitating the demise of its motherboard. Here is my question: will this machine- when properly repaired with a tested & functional motherboard, maxed out RAM & HD, & running OSX 10.4- continue to be as capable, as well as compatible with the current (2017) demands of word processing software (both commercial and open source), and culling information from the internet? Please advise.

Your smartphone has much more capability for things like YouTube & FB videos than any old Mac
