iPod won't transfer all music

I just got a new iMac and tried to sync my iPod with it. It transferred the songs I purchased from iTunes into my new computer's iTunes but not the songs that I loaded from my personal CDs onto my iPod via my old computer with iTunes. Anyone know how to help?
