iPhone wrong date format

Just noticed that Reminders and Notes are displaying the date as Month/Day/Year.

For example, a note that I edited shows 1/14/16, it should be 14/01/16 or something similar.

Even worse, a reminder shows 4/3/17, which makes me believe the 4th of March, when it actually is the 3rd of April.

I checked my Region settings and I'm in the correct country (Argentina). I do use the iPhone Language in English, but that shouldn't be a problem.

Any way to fix it?

Under settings on the phone, go to general> language & region> try selecting a different country.

Example: for region, I have United States. Calendar, Gregorian. Under Calendar, you should have different options available to you to change the way dates are shown.

Mess around with it and see if you can get the correct date format.

It shouldn't mess with currency, that little window is just showing you an example.

If for some reason it does mess with the currency, then there is no way to change it, that I know of. But all you can do is try and see what happens.
