Smart Mailbox Issue - Days No Longer Working

I used to have a series of Smart mailboxes set up so that I could quickly access mail from Yesterday, 2 Days Ago, 3 Days Ago and 4 Days Ago. The ones for specific days ago relied on using the 'Date Received' 'Is Exactly' and then whatever number I wanted with the 'Day' ago setting. These no longer work - as overtime I try and set the day to 2 or 3 or 4, it just reverts to 0 and doesn't work.

Any idea of a fix for why one specific setting on Smart Mailboxes won't work any longer?

Thanks,

Mike

I observed the same behavior too.

As a workaround, I used:

Date Received: is between: 2: and 2: days: ago

You can change 2 to 3, 4, etc.

Do a backup, preferably 2 backups on 2 separate drives.

Quit the application.

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Mail/V3/Mail Data/SmartMailboxesLocalProperties.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.

Restart the computer, open the application, and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.

If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.
