MacBook Pro won't access ONE https website

My computer will not connect to nasioc, a large Subaru owners website. I reached out through the Facebook page and was told they had moved the site to https but didn't offer much help. I'm getting the "can't establish a secure connection" page on safari. Chrome and Firefox won't work either.

I've tried numerous guides to delete caches, reset browsers, etc... nothing works. The site WAS intermittently working for me when I was connected to my VPN service, but even that doesn't seem to work now.

Can anyone tell me what's up? 2011 MBP, Mavericks OS.

So, I ran the MalwareBytes, erased some malware, and ran etrecheck, here's the report. I'm currently doing a full system scan with avast as well, because it's been awhile since I've done so... Ignore the part of the report that says my computer is below average 🙂 Avast is working hard.

I deleted the malware/adware that it found. When the other scan is complete I will try a reboot, maybe safe mode.

EtreCheck version: 3.1.5 (343)

Most of them are just a money-maker for the manufacturer. When tested, many do not find anything to do with Macs at all. And Macs are not subject to spontaneous attacks by malware (unless "helped" by the owner). As your Mac is already well-protected by built-in anti-malware, there is no need for third-party add-ons, as they tend to make your Mac slow and unstable.

if you are required to have anti-Virus for work or school, I recommend you use ClamXAV, which you run on demand, rather than these foolish things that examine each and every file coming and going.
