iPhone 7 Plus, lag after entering passcode

I have an iPhone 7 Plus (iP7+) 128 gb, whenever I enter the passcode there's a lag before the phone responds and opens to the Home screen, opening apps, or even closing an app. I have disabled what (transition) animations I can, yet even with other task the response to input seems to lag: from one screen to another transition, app closing or opening transition to and from Home screen lag.

I have restarted, power button hold down and did the power>volume down step as well. The phone has done this from day one, so OS updates did not seem to propagate the issue. Coming from an Android phone (unrooted) which I was able to disable all (transition) animations to make the phone snappy and responsive, the iP7+ is noticeably slower and lags. And yes short of getting a new phone I have set everything available in iOS to obtain the same snappy environment as my old Android phone. the iP7+ has some good qualities, but I miss snappy and immediate response when working with the iP7+. I don't think it is a device (hardware) issue but an OS issue. What can Apple do to make the OS environment seem more snappy and immediate through faster transition animation settings?
