disable waves plugins in Garageband

I have waves Gold installed on my system for pro tools. I want to use Grageband with out them as they require my I lok that I don't carry around with me. Everytime GB starts the waves enabler pops up. When I cancel the authorization GB crashes. Any ideas as to how to make this work?
